LakeUnited KiteCoach Academy

The LakeUnited Academy is a training and further education program for kiteboarding instructors according to the most likely highest industry standards. At the same time, it's a mix of boot camp, assessment center, and team building for aspiring LakeUnited Kite coaches.

You'll get to know us, and we'll get to know you – and if everything aligns, we'll be delighted to welcome you to the team. In any case, you'll complete this academy with the LakeUnited Academy Certificate ab.

We're really giving it our all and invest in your talent and yourself as a potential team addition. Therefore, this Academy is held for you at cost price (or actually even below)! For accommodation, we receive an extremely reduced friendship price, which we pass on to you. And the effort for your training is also on us.

For our Academy, we have chosen a place with 1,000 opportunities for development – Wangerooge, the easternmost of the seven East Frisian North Sea islands in Northern Germany.
Special Price
You will pay the direct costs for accommodation and training, excluding travel expenses, meals, and materials. We will clarify everything else once you have been selected.

We are looking for kite instructors who understand their craft, but don't just want to live the wild dream of vacation adventures and workations, but also real team players who want to turn their passion into a profession.

As a LakeUnited Kitecoach, you take your job seriously and go the extra mile with enthusiasm to inspire people and truly help them progress.

If you don't have any kite instructor experience yet, but believe you can successfully complete the Academy and become a LakeUnited Kitecoach, you'll have the chance to convince us.

Dream conditions for your start on the team

You'll be staying with us right on the North Sea beach, in the tents of a surf station. Can you imagine the view?

The opportunities to gain experience here are virtually endless. Kite, foil, wing, and surf action in flat water and waves, a pump track in the backyard and Spikeball in the dunes, combined with valuable content from our skill workshops, topped off by the awarding of the LakeUnited Academy Certificate – How exciting!

All of this will make you feel like your childhood idols from Blue Water High! Unlike there, graduating from the Academy doesn't give you a wildcard for the WSL – but it does give you a direct path to the LakeUnited team!
